You can’t take your eyes off a toddler for a second. They can get away from you so quickly, so it is important to keep a close watch. However, when this young child got away from her parents, there was a stranger who saved the falling toddler’s life.
Feuzi Zabaat was walking down the street in the Faith area of Istanbul, where he works. The seventeen-year-old, clearly visible in the video footage from his yellow shirt, noticed something was wrong.
He is seen looking up, presumably at the open second-floor window. CCTV footage captures him noticing the child, Doha, playing. It’s almost as if he knew something bad was about to happen.
He positioned himself under the open window, just in case. Then, everything happened so quickly. He put his arms out just in time to catch the falling toddler and may have saved her life.
Without Feuzi’s quick thinking, Doha would have plummeted into the concrete and suffered life-changing, if not life-threatening injuries. This doesn’t bear thinking about, so we can just be glad Feuzi was there.
The hero teen was humble about his actions, however. “She fell, and thanks to God, I caught her before she hit the ground.”
His heroic actions may have saved the life of the falling toddler, and her parents gave him thanks for his actions. They will be keeping a closer eye on her, as well as their windows, in the future.
What do you think of Feuzi’s heroic actions? Would you have reacted the same? He is a true hero, and thanks to him, Doha still has her life. Let us know what you think in the comments, and share with your family and friends if you think Feuzi is an inspiration.
