We’ve officially gotten our first look at Baby Sussex! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared at St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle to introduce a limited group of press to their little boy.
The site is special to Harry and Meghan, as it’s where they exchanged vows nearly a year ago.
The new parents looked tired but excited to show off their baby boy, whose name has yet to be announced. Baby Sussex lay calmly in his dad’s arms as Harry and Meghan fielded questions about their first few days as parents. Meghan described motherhood as “magic” and the baby as “a dream.”
“I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy,” she gushed over her husband and son.
When asked about their first few days as new parents, the Duchess of Sussex revealed, “He has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm.” Harry joked, “I wonder who he gets that from!”
Harry and Meghan also revealed that they haven’t quite figured out who he looks most like yet, but they are watching the subtle changes in him day by day.
“Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks,” the prince explained. “We’re basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really. But his looks are changing every single day, so who knows?”
Following the photo-call, Baby Sussex and his parents were headed to a very important meeting. The family of three was about to introduce Baby Sussex to his great-grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. This makes for the eighth great-grandchild for the 93-year-old Queen!
